Zero Hedge has a great piece submitted by one of its members. It provides you with a crisp look at the actual state of the union, at least from a financial perspective. Tyler, you and your group have done it again.

We heard our president last week state that “he has a pen and a cell phone” and would act without congress. Well, he doesn’t have the power to do so as has been pointed out many time. However, dictators don’t care about stated powers in a constitution.

Now, we hear his head of Homeland Insecurity has said that “illegals have earned the right to citizenship.” What? Add to this the czars Obama has added and you have what amounts to a coup that has happened here in the U.S.

The question I want answered is: What will our elected GOP leaders do about it? I know the answer. Nothing. Why? Because they get the spoils of this coup as well.

I predict that this circumstance won’t last long. You will see the IRS continue to attach on conservatives with their audits, and you will see Obama continue his unconstitutional ways. This will last until November when, if conservatives stand tall, conservatives will win the Senate and have the House too. If the GOP doesn’t take heed and actually represent what is in their constituents best interest rather than their own, the “U” might be gone from the USA.

Obama was out last week threatening to once again act unconstitutionally to get what he wants. He can’t stand toe to toe and win an arugment. Instead, he uses his marxist rhetoric to threaten congress into doing what he wants.

This isn’t the first time he has done this. Just look at each of the changes made to Obamacare he has made on his own. He can’t do that under our constitutional framework. Did that stop him? No. Did the Republican Party stand up to him? No, on the Tea Party member did.

The bottom line – The guy needs to be impeached for failing to uphold the constitution. We also need to elect real Republicans, not Democrats in Republican clothing.

Under capitalism, the rich become powerful while under socialism the powerful become rich.

How do the powerful become rich? By exploiting others and by taking from others, i.e. using their power.

THIS IS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVLELS: The Washington Post reports on a ruling by a New York federal judge, overruling a lower court.

Let’s get the judges address and AIG him. We can follow him and members of his family around just like they did to the AIG executives.

A question for this judge: in today’s world, what would constitute a violation of our 4th Amendment rights?

The WSJ’s Review and Outlook and Forbes have interesting articles on this. With Obama doing this, why don’t Republicans volunteer to help him out? Well, they want government to control healthcare too.

There really isn’t a difference other than Madoff gave a lot of his money to charity. Obama gives our money to charity to buy votes. Sorry, but I’ll take Madoffs over Obama’s.

With the debt ceiling lifted and the continuing resolution approved, our president and congressmen have successfully kicked the can down the street for another couple of months. This is being celebrated as some big success by the media, both the Democratic media and the Republican media, but why? What really has been accomplished other than proving:

– They don’t believe in the Constitutional separation of powers;
– The Republicans on the Hill can be beaten into submission with contrived Democratic media polls;
– The Washington establishment can’t stand people who actually represent their constituents back home.

If this is success, I’ll take failure every day.

While many watched and chuckled at this, I was absolutely devastated knowing that so many of my fellow Americans rely on someone else for their existence. Being dependent like that leads to bad decisions. Ask any drug dealer. Which brings me to my point:
