Can We Quit Calling Them and Thinking of Them as “Our Leaders”?

I was listening to a clip from the Tucker Carlson Tonight show, and one thing really drove me crazy. Tucker kept referring to those in congress and the president as “our leaders”. Now, you might say we have always referred to them that way. Well, perhaps, but it seems there is something a lot more nefarious going on these days.

To say someone leads you infers that they somehow direct you. Our country was never suppose to have elected representatives, a president and certainly not a permanent bureaucracy that commands how we live, act, what products to buy, or what vaccines we are required to take. However, we have seen that change over the course of the COVID crisis, and that portends an entirely different future for our republic.

Not only have those elected officials and unelected bureaucrats infringed on our constitutional rights, but they are no longer even hiding their true agenda: a movement towards an authoritarian type state that they control. Over the past 50 years, we have witnessed a continued infringement by government and bureaucrats into our daily lives. They promise a perfect society praying on those at the lower end of the income scale. They have fractured society into groups in order to collect them into voting blocks in their attempts to control government and our lives.

Can anyone think of anything positive this cabal of government, media and business has produced? I can’t, but I can certainly name things they have destroyed. This would include:

  • Destruction of the value of our currency;
  • Erosion of the family unit;
  • Destruction in the trust in our institutions;
  • Offshoring of our manufacturing base;
  • Allowed for a huge influx of illegal aliens into the country;
  • Destroyed the federal budget process;
  • Made us reliant on other countries for key materials and food;

I could go on and on, but that wouldn’t do anything for us. However, what we can do is to begin holding them accountable for the results of their policies. The first is to begin ridiculing them (Alinsky’s rule) and calling them what they are: LOSERS.

The Coming Food Crisis the Media Isn’t Warning You About

Some have heard about the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the subsequent enactment of sanctions against Russia, the Russian’s cessation of agricultural exports as a reaction to the sanctions, and what that means for the world’s food supplies. However, the media is not warning people of the potential problem this creates.

Zero Hedge has a concise piece that highlights what that means to the globe. From the piece:

The curtailment of agricultural exports from Russia and Ukraine will have dramatic knock-on effects on global food supplies. Both countries are known as the ‘breadbasket of the world’ and are responsible for a quarter of the international wheat trade, about a fifth of corn, and 12% of all calories traded globally. Another major problem is access to fertilizers, as Russia has banned exports of the nutrients.

A blogger’s tweet quoted in the piece captures the concerns many of us have:

If our concerns are correct, this will be a long couple of years, and inflation will be the least of our worries.

NY Times National Security Reporter: “J6 was no big deal”

Project Veritas has done it again. They have Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times correspondent, Matthew Rosenberg, speaking about the events of January 6, 2021, that contradicts his own reporting. Quotes from the undercover interview include:

  • NYT National Security Correspondent, Matthew Rosenberg, contradicts his own January 6 reporting: “There were a ton of FBI informants amongst the people who attacked the Capitol.”
  • Rosenberg: “It was like, me and two other colleagues who were there [January 6] outside and we were just having fun!”
  • Rosenberg: “I know I’m supposed to be traumatized, but like, all these colleagues who were in the [Capitol] building and are like ‘Oh my God it was so scary!’  I’m like, ‘f*ck off!’”
  • Rosenberg: “I’m like come on, it’s not the kind place I can tell someone to man up but I kind of want to be like, ‘dude come on, you were not in any danger.’”
  • Rosenberg: “These f*cking little dweebs who keep going on about their trauma. Shut the f*ck up. They’re f*cking b*tches.”
  • Rosenberg: “They were making too big a deal. They were making this an organized thing that it wasn’t.”
  • Rosenberg RESPONDS: “Will I stand by those comments? Absolutely.”

Now, let’s see if Rosenberg truly stands by those comments.

Another Shot of Wisdom from Instapundit

ANALYSIS: TRUE. Intellectuals are proving bad for America.

A Vanderbilt University professor recently wrote on Twitter that parents concerned about critical race theory teachings are “ignorant racist[s].” A known scientist who’s served in several scientific policy capacities to combat pollution wrote in one of America’s most esteemed scientific journals, “Scientific American,” that “Science Needs to Face Up to Its Racist History.” An associate professor and director of graduate studies at the University of Rhode Island once tweeted, “Science, statistics, and technology are all inherently racist.” And there’s a growing movement based on faulty, deceptive science pushed by agenda-driven so-called scientists that say, as The Daily Beast wrote in one headline, “Yes, Men Can Have Periods and We Need to Talk About Them.”

It’s getting so the more letters after a person’s name, the stupider the theories to come. Higher education degrees are rapidly becoming the modern illustration of William Shakespeare’s sound and fury, signifying nothing.

When there are rewards but no consequences for saying stupid, destructive things, you’ll get more stupid and destructive.

Did Trudeau Trigger a Run on the Banks in Canada?

Megan Fox has an article at PJ Media hinting at that possibility. She quotes the Canadian financial Blog Armstrong Economics and notes that “the emergency powers activated by Justin Trudeau to cripple the trucker protests have sparked panic among citizens, which could lead to a devastating financial crisis.” The Emergencies Act enabled Canadian banks to freeze the assets of anyone who donated to protests against the vaccine mandates, without due process or any court action. What is interesting is what she reported happened AFTER Trudeau ordered the freeze.

Trudeau then ordered the banks to unfreeze the accounts after the protesters had been cleared away. But what is reported to have happened after that is being ignored by the corporate press. Armstrong Economics says there was a stunning run on banks across Canada, as scared citizens are withdrawing their life savings and transferring it to foreign banks in the United States and elsewhere.

This reported run on the banks in Canada has been ignored by the legacy media which makes sense. I’m sure the government has attempted to tamp information down related to this, but there is anecdotal evidence on Twitter and other places suggesting daily limits being placed on withdrawals.

Megan quotes a post at The Last Refuge saying that it is indeed happening and those in power don’t want people to know. The writer appears to say that Trudeau’s actions were heavy handed and exposed the secret power of bankers to everyone, and the bankers don’t like it one bit.

These tools of citizen control are things well known to the central bankers and control agents of finance, but they are never spoken about in polite company – let alone publicized, promoted and openly bragged about.

Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland essentially broke the financial code of Omerta, by highlighting how easy it is for government to seize your bank accounts, credit cards, retirement accounts, insurance, mortgages, loan access and cut you off from money.

Once this gets out to the broader public, who knows what will happen. This could severely damage the West’s financial system and certainly investment in country’s like Canada which have shown they will steal the financial resources of people “who don’t have the right opinions.” This is a pretty low bar for government theft of private assets and introduces a new risk to the investment equation in Canada.

Will Trudeau’s actions limit foreign investment in Canada? Will his actions lead to a long-term liquidation of assets held in Canadian banks as its citizens move money to foreign countries? Hard to predict, but this could lead to the repudiation of central bank’s digital currencies, move citizens back to a cash system, and strengthen the markets for alternative assets.

CDC Withholding Data

The New York Times is reporting that the CDC is withholding COVID 19 vaccination data from the public. The data deals specifically with the efficacy of the COVID vaccines in the 18-49 age group. As stated in the piece:

“For more than a year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has collected data on hospitalizations for Covid-19 in the United States and broken it down by age, race and vaccination status. But it has not made most of the information public.”

With its credibility already under fire with much of the country, this decision is certainly one to be questioned. Stated reason include they didn’t want the data to be misinterpreted. Well, without the raw data, how will the public ever trust the “polished data” that might result?
