CDC Withholding Data

The New York Times is reporting that the CDC is withholding COVID 19 vaccination data from the public. The data deals specifically with the efficacy of the COVID vaccines in the 18-49 age group. As stated in the piece:

“For more than a year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has collected data on hospitalizations for Covid-19 in the United States and broken it down by age, race and vaccination status. But it has not made most of the information public.”

With its credibility already under fire with much of the country, this decision is certainly one to be questioned. Stated reason include they didn’t want the data to be misinterpreted. Well, without the raw data, how will the public ever trust the “polished data” that might result?

Trudeau’s Actions in Canada a Surprise?

Are the actions of Trudeau and the Canadian government really a surprise? It might be to most of us, but clearly Neil Peart had it in mind when he penned the song Subdivisions for Rush, a Canadian rock band. I mean words like “opinions all provided” and “conform or be cast out” seem apropos in today’s world. Once again, life is imitating a Rush song. Neil Peart will be recalled as a political philosopher before too long.

ABA – Time to Rid the Country of It

Revolver News has a great article on striking a blow to the power of one of the worst organization’s in the U.S.: the American Bar Association. I have written several times about this organization’s control of the legal education in the U.S. It is woke does not do it justice. The recent announcement of changes in legal education to require CRT is just another example of the organization’s march towards Marxism. The article points out several ways Republican controlled states could strike a blow to the beast. The question is: will they?

Mission Creep

Dr. Robert Malone’s Mission Creep post on substack hits the nail on the head. It is well past time for Congress to reel DHS in, if not even remove them. It has served its purpose and is well past its expiration date.

“Freedom Convoys” and Governments’ Responses

As you look at the various “freedom convoys” ongoing around the world, one thing is obvious: the elites are very upset at their subjects. How could their subjects not accept their demands to take an experimental shot, imposed limits on their subjects’ freedoms, etc.?

Everywhere you look governments are responding to such protests with increased restrictions, confiscation of or freezing of assets by private sector companies required to follow these mandates. In the U.S., you have DHS targeting those who “undermine public trust in government”. (H/T The Daily Bell). What does that mean to undermine public trust in government? Well, it could mean attending a school board meeting in your locality and protesting their COVID policies.

You have governments encouraging, forcing, allowing or however you want to say it the doxxing of those whose opinions don’t align with the government’s narratives whether that be on COVID, the 2020 elections or whatever. They freeze your money so as to starve you into submission. They pressure your employer so their only option is to terminate you unless you submit to their demands.

What does this say about the supposed governments of the world? Basically, they are all the same and will flex their powers to ensure you tote their opinions whenever they feel threatened.

In the U.S., you might ask why? Our freedoms are enshrined in the Constitution and do not come from government. Think what you will, but you have successfully allowed the government to become your ruler. How? Buying into the thinking that that government can protect you from any harm (i.e. terrorism using the Patriot Act), and allowing them to continue concentrating power in the federal government. Our founders knew that unchecked concentration of power centrally would result in the enslavement of the citizenry which is why they had the checks and balances build into the Constitution. However, progressives have led to the stripping away of some of these checks and balances in the name of democracy since the late 1800s. This allowed the unconstitutional (think illegal) delegation of power from Congress to the alphabet agencies under the Administrative Procedures Act. This act turns these agencies into lawmakers who can imprison you and take you money all with no accountability to the public. Today, congress is nothing more than paid stooges allowing this to continue so money keeps flowing to them. Funny how people live in DC, making $170K a year, and become millionaires in the process.

Government actions tell you they are very concerned about these convoys. Why? Because they are working and are beginning to disrupt commerce. More importantly, the convoys have many of the citizens who weren’t inclined to distrust the elites in government seeing just how bad these people are.

Happy 2022

Happy New Year to everyone. Here’s to getting back to “normal” this year and the end of the fear porn being hoisted upon us. Take care of yourselves and help those incapable of taking care of themselves. In this way, we will rid ourselves of the “influence” of the “do-gooders” in government.

Biden and His Vaccination Mandate

@DanCrenshawTX’s quote below askes the question. I believe the answer is yes. The Democrats are trying to start a revolt which they would blame on Trump and say is a continuation of the January 6th “insurrection”. Question is, will they be allowed to push such a narrative?

States Rights vs. Populism

Kurt Schlichter (https://townhall.com/columnists/kurtschlichter/) has column “The Coming of Strong Man Populism and the Power of No”. In it, he discusses the abject failure of the ruling class which will lead to strong man populism. Read the whole thing

Another fantastic way to promote strong man populism is to advocate for state’s rights and the convention of states. Each of those movements removes from the elites the very thing that attracts them to the federal government: power.

Power to the people, not the government.
