Mass Shootings and the Gun Grab

You know it is going to happen every time there is a mass shooting (other than gang related mass shootings which you never hear about from the legacy media). The anti-2nd Amendment crowd (usually Democrats) say we must pass new gun laws to stop this. Well, here is a fact: you will never be able to stop this.

Ella Wilcox’ quote: “There is no chance, no destiney, no fate, that can circumvent hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul.” I first heard that quote at a time management seminar in 1987, and it has stuck with me ever since.

Is new gun control legislation going to change the situation? No. Why do you say that? Because nothing will stop someone determined to do such a terrible act. Look at all of the data available on these situations and you find common themes:

  1. They are likely to occur in a gun free zone.
  2. The perp usually stops upon encountering any resistance.

However, if your a politician or a liberal, never let facts get in the way., or as Rahm Emanuel would say, you should never let a good crisis go to waste. Here, the immediate reaction is to enact legislation that limit the freedom of the law abiding. Is that going to help reduce/stop this? No.

Next, we’re told that it is the invective speech of the president that is causing this type of reaction. Really? So, what about the hateful, bigoted and racist words spewed through the mouths of Democrats? Or, how about the horrible lyrics in today’s music, the isolating effects of social media, or the violence perpetrated in video games and virtual reality simulators? Well, since they are all leftist or left-leaning industries, they can’t be the cause of any of this.

You can’t have it both ways. If spoken words are in fact what is causing this, what does additional gun control legislation do for that? Nothing, but you see, that is really not the point of this. The point of this is to disarm the citizenry. That is the ultimate objective here, and the one thing we have learned, is that the leftist never stop pushing towards their goal.
